I was frequently asked how I managed to succeed in getting sponsorship on the amateur level of racing. Toward the end of the 2005 race season, I was speaking at length with another driver about the things I have done in order to secure and maintain the sponsorships I have enjoyed. At one point in the conversation, my friend remarked that I should write a book.

So I did.
