Professional Attitude for Student Success (PASS) 
The PASS certificate program consists of a variety of presentations on professionalism in the veterinary field by RUSVM faculty and administrators. Once a student attends at least 6 presentations, they earn their certificate.

PASS also hosts several events throughout the year: PASSion Show (professional attire fashion show), a Family Feud-style game show, a Speed Networking Event with RUSVM Faculty, and each semester they host the Professional Proud Wednesday photo contest.  More information on PASS here.

Leadership HACC  
This is a 6-session leadership certificate program based on Kouzes and Pozner's book 'The Leadership Challenge'. Each session is one hour long and features an interactive learning experience that demonstrates one of the 5 principles of leadership discussed in the book. There is a sixth session that deal with diversity and multiculturalism.

Nittany Neighbor Dinners  
The Nittany Neighborhood Dinners was a series of dinners that bring the community together with students, staff and faculty at Penn State Schuylkill. I created the logo below for the dinner series.

Nov. 2009–May 2011
 
Stand Against Racism, April 30, 2010  
The Stand Against Racism is a YWCA effort that "aims to eliminate racism by raising awareness." Penn State Schuylkill participated in this event for the first time in 2010 in collaboration with several other schools in the area. The YWCA Stand Against Racism Web site is here.

Black History Month 
In the spring of 2010, our campus NAACP worked in collaboration with our Student Programming Board (SPB) to host a variety of events throughout the month of February in celebration of Black History Month.

NOISE
The students of Penn State Berks always did such a wonderful job recognizing the Day of Silence that they inspired me to host a concert, in celebration of GLBTA people everywhere, the night before the Day of Silence in 2009. There was no need to keep quiet, so we made NOISE!
